Stonegate Community Development District (CDD) COVID-19 Closures

In an effort to minimize the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) within the community and in accordance with Miami-Dade County Executive Order 06-20, the District has closed all the facilities and suspended all recreational programs and activities in the interest of public safety.

These closures and suspension of recreational programs and activities will remain in effect until further notice, at least until further guidance and recommendations are provided by local, state, and federal governments, and in keeping with the advisories and recommendations of the local, state Health Departments and CDD.

The District has initiated elevated cleaning services prior to the closures, and will implement further cleaning efforts prior to opening the facilities. Additionally, the District has initiated contingency plans, modifying onsite staff work schedules and travel requirements, in order to safeguard a healthy workplace.

The District is continuing it’s monitoring of the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation, and remains in daily communications with other partners and governmental agencies. As this situation continues to develop, the District will evaluate and make necessary changes to the temporary policies and practices during this State of Emergency.

The District urges everyone to continue following basic infection prevention guidelines, including washing hands often, avoiding contact with sick people, cleaning high -touch surfaces, and staying home when sick.
